There’s a huge difference between someone telling you how to do something and someone SHOWING you.
Even if you are camera shy, you can record your screen and your voice and share great instructional content online. If you are a pt, you can share some quick excercises to help with common problems in your target market. Remember to always mention that people can get personalized service by booking with you and give them that info.
What if you are a doctor or a specialist and can’t share what you do online? You can always share related content.
What does that mean? So if you make incredibly detailed wedding cakes, you have a bunch of specific equipment, probably make your own fondant and have a different approach than a home baker. Think about your target customer, do you want to sell a cookbook/ instructional course? Do you want to get more clients for your local catering services? If you’d like to sell a cookbook or a course, you can demonstrate little flourishing touches that people can add to their homemade cakes to make them special. If you are going for a local focus, create time lapse videos of wedding cakes and tag them with your local town name.
Not an expert at filming? Get on Craigslist or contact your local college to see if you can get an intern! Also check out this tutorial on how to shoot expert looking footage from Wistia. (See how they did that?)
